Q: Where are the bootcamps held?
A: At a private site near Paddock Wood, Kent
Q: Do I need my own model plane?
A: No. Everything is provided for your model flying experience
Q: How many other people will be there?
A: To ensure that everyone has the best possible experience, camps are limited to a maximum of 16 participants
Q: What facilities are available on site?
A: We will provide water, event toilets, tea & coffee.
Q: Is there a minimum age for the bootcamp?
A: The bootcamp is for kids aged 8 and above.
Q: What occurs at the bootcamps?
A: This is the planned schedule for the bootcamp.
Q: Are there any provisions for participants with disabilities?
A: We can accommodate disabled persons, please contact info@rcflyingbootcamp with your specific requirements before booking.
Q: What can we do if we really enjoy RC Model Flying and want to go take up the hobby?
A: The bootcamp will provide you with lots of useful information plus access to a discounted package to help you get started in the hobby.
Q: How much flying experience will I get?
A: Each delegate will get a minimum of 3 flights during their experience. In addition, you will receive the a significant amount of time on our realistic simulators.
Q: What happens if the weather turns bad?
A: We are affected by strong winds and rain. If the forecast is deemed to be unsuitable 72 hours prior to the bootcamp, it will be re-scheduled. If the bad weather is unexpected or just for a short time, we have plenty of shelter.
Q: What do I need to bring?
A: Food & Drink. Appropriate clothing for being outdoors in a field. We recommend you bring sunglasses and a hat to keep the sun off your face.
