TERMS & CONDITIONS
Attendance
All persons under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.
The event takes place on an active airfield. For this reason, we cannot allow dogs on site.
Flying
The number of flights you will receive is an estimate based on planned timings. Whilst we will endeavour to provide the published number as a minimum, weather, technical issues and other unforeseen circumstances may prevent this from happening. We will try, where possible to give participants the best possible experience and the maximum possible flying, however will not be able to refund participants if the minimum number of flights is not achieved.
Danger / Risk
RC Model Flying can be a dangerous hobby and there is a risk that model aircraft can collide with persons or property. Whilst precautions will be taken to ensure your safety and insurance is held by the organisers, it must be accepted that an accident is possible.
Liability
All property, vehicles and belongings are brought on site at your own risk. RCFlyingBootcamp Ltd and it’s helpers & volunteers will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or theft.
Conduct
The bootcamps are intended to be a family / child friendly event. We would expect that everyone behaves in a courteous, respectful and decent manner. We reserve the right to expel any persons deemed not behaving in such a manner. Drugs are not allowed on site and anyone found possessing them will be asked to leave. Refunds will not be provided to anyone asked to leave the event.
Refreshments
Coffee, tea, and water will be provided as a gesture of goodwill and do not form part of the attendance fee. Refreshments will only be available to paying participants and their accompanying adult.
Complaints / Issue Reporting
Bootcamp staff will be wearing grey coloured T-Shirts. You can report any issues or raise complaints with the staff, who will ensure your issue or complaint is handled promptly and fairly. You can also email info@rcflyingbootcamps.com with any questions, issues or complaints.
Cancellation Policy
The organisers reserve the right to cancel a bootcamp if the weather conditions are not deemed suitable. If a bootcamp is cancelled due to weather or any other circumstance, an alternative date will be provided. If this date is not suitable, a full refund of the bootcamp fee will be provided. If you wish to cancel your booking, a full refund of the bootcamp fee will be available up to 10 days before the bootcamp start date. If you wish to cancel after this time ie. less than 10 days prior to the boot camp start date, we may be able to offer an alternative date subject to availability, however we will be unable to refund bootcamp fees.
